Ali Mac Percussion


Ali Mac is an incredible drummer and percussionist originally from Manchester, UK. Ali's career includes signing with Virgin/EMI Records, affiliations with Ludwig Drums and Istanbul Agop Cymbals, and contributing to Disney's "The Lion King" UK tour.

As a graduate of Leeds College of Music, he's had the chance to work with amazing artists such as Judge Jules, John Waugh and Thabo. Ali is also involved with the Northern School of Contemporary Dance, both as a performer and an accompanist.

Sam on Drums

Sam is an event drummer and percussionist (and also a drum teacher). She has gained recognition for her work both in the UK and internationally by performing at events like the World Cup in Qatar!

 

Not only does she perform live with DJs, but her band, BABYTEETH, has supported notable acts such as Adam Ant and played at several large festivals.

Sam's skills were acknowledged in the Hit Like A Girl Contest, where she came 2nd! When she's not performing at events, she's working on the Drumming Connects Us project and endorses several drum companies. Oh, and she is always on time in more ways than one.

Rob C - LED Drummer

Rob C, is the LED Drummer. He brings his visually stunning, high-energy performances to weddings, corporate functions & and private parties across the UK.


A graduate of Birmingham Conservatoire, Rob has played with some incredible groups, including The Drifters and Elaine. Not only this, but he also performs regularly with concert orchestras at the Royal Albert Hall! 

Rob's visually striking shows and musical sound make him a standout addition to any event.

George on Drums

With over 12 years of experience behind him, George is a highly sought-after drummer and tutor. He is also incredibly active! If he's not touring with The Blues Brother experience he will be in the studio with the band Scatterchild.

George has also performed at festivals like Isle of Wight, This is SKA and Camden Rocks.

What types of events are suitable for a percussionist?

All events, including weddings, corporate events and private parties,

How much does it cost to hire a percussionist in the UK?

It depends on the performer and date, so get in touch to request a free quote and secure your booking.

How much time do percussionists take to set up?

​

Usually between 30 minutes and an hour. However, a full-scale drum kit and band can take up to 90 minutes.

What instruments does a percussionist play?

A percussionist might play drums, cymbals, tambourines, maracas, xylophones, or other rhythm instruments. Some specialise in a particular instrument, like a drum set or congas, while others use multiple percussion instruments.

Do I need to provide any equipment for the percussionist?

All you need to supply is the stage, and our percussionists will provide the party!

Can the percussionist play alongside other musicians or a DJ?

Many of our percussionists are experienced in collaborating with other musicians or DJs. It brings another level to the party and makes the atmosphere really pop.
